Regular Study Period & Estimated Conferment Period

2026/2027 Entry

The tables below list the programme codes, mode of study, regular study duration and estimated conferment period for taught postgraduate programmes offered across HKMU’s five Schools. Figures are shown for both full-time and part-time modes where applicable. The University confers awards three times a year — in March, July and September.

The estimated conferment and regular study periods are subject to the course offering pattern and each student’s adherence to the prescribed study plan. Please read the notes at the foot of this page together with the tables.

Notes

  1. Students who have completed the programme and satisfied the requirements for the award shall graduate. The University confers awards three times a year, in March, July and September. Graduates will be invited to attend the Congregation within the same year.
  2. The estimated conferment and regular study period are subject to the course offering pattern and student’s adherence to the prescribed study plan. The University reserves the right to make any necessary updates and changes to the offering.
  3. The offering of electives is subject to School’s decision.
  4. The full-time programme fees include the Business Transformation Immersion Programme which is compulsory for all full-time students enrolled in the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration.
  5. Students have the option to exit the Master’s programme and receive a Postgraduate Diploma, provided they meet the graduation requirements. For further details, please refer to the respective programme’s website.
  6. The award is conferred by both Hong Kong Metropolitan University and Lingnan University respectively.
  7. This programme offers Autumn Term and Spring Term admissions.
  8. The English title of this programme was formerly “Master of Nursing (with specialisation in Extensive End-of-Life Care)” and has since been changed to its current title.
