Doctor of Business Administration (DBA or DBAC)

Programme Description

  2. The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is designed to advance the professional development of senior practising managers and professional in the business world. DBA focuses on topical and applied management issues. With the professional orientation of the DBA, the underpinning programme is a combination of taught courses and thesis.

Programme Requirements Autumn Term Intake only

  • Applicants shall possess a recognised Master’s Degree in business administration or a business-related field or its equivalent; and substantial working experience at senior management level as determined by the University.
  • The number of student places for the programme is limited and admission is on a competitive basis.

 

Students admitted to the DBA/DBAC programme will be required to complete 60 credit-units of course work at Postgraduate level as prescribed by the University, before proceeding to the DBA/DBAC thesis.

There is no credit exemption for the course work or thesis part of the programme.
